For most, this is the best time to visit Gujarat and India. The weather is cool but sunny and dry with clear skies and offers guests a very pleasant and comfortable climate. The region and its parks are very easy to navigate during this time.

March to Jun 15th
Prior to monsoon season, this period is marked by the Indian summer when the weather is hotter. The bonus of travel during this time is that wildlife becomes easier to spot thanks to the drier landscape. Guests can keep cool in the shade of the jungle, in our air-conditioned kothis and in our swimming pool.

June to September
This is when India receives its highest rainfall, resulting in a total transformation of the dry grasslands and forests into lush, tropical landscapes with abundant wildlife. The temperature and humidity are at their highest during this period, but our guests have ample opportunities to keep cool and comfortable and are more likely to have the tourist sights to themselves.
The park remains closed between 16 June - 15 October every year.
KOTHI LAYOUT
Our 18 suites, called kothis - meaning bungalow or small home - take their cue from the charmingly informal arrangement of the local Gujarati village homes, whose buildings develop spontaneously with the passage of time. True to our name (Aramness – peaceful village), our understated, yet utterly luxurious interiors have been designed to instil deep comfort and tranquillity and have been constructed using the many natural materials and craft techniques native to Gujarat and India.
